Three Zara tops you need this spring

Three Zara tops you need this spring

So I’ve been thinking alot about what I want my blog to include and what I want it to portray, and if I’m honest the answer was simple and right in front of my nose all along. I want it to be a bit of me. A slice of gooey chocolate cake if you will. Yes I did just refer to myself as gooey chocolate cake, is that a good thing? I don’t know I just love chocolate cake, ok I’m missing the point. I realised that I wanted it to be a little slice of myself, the bits I want to show anyway as I’m not going to try and get you to believe that everything you read or see on social media is my life 100% of the time, because its not, but isn’t that the same as anyones?

In the spirit of creating a blog which is a little slice of me, I thought it was about time that I jumped back into writing up about my favourite outfits, make up looks etc… I’ve ditched the serious sally talk for today and decided to share with you my favourite Zara buys that will just make your wardrobe fun and flirty this spring.

I think its safe to say that I am obsessed with ruffles and frills at the moment. This is one of many tops that have made their way into my wardrobe now that have those cute little ruffled sleeves. I think this has to be my favourite though. The bright yellow flowers just make me smile and makes me feel all cute and happy inside.

Wear it with: For a more casual look during the day, I’ve paired it with these boyfriend jeans from Forever 21 and mules from New Look. If I was going out maybe for a dinner or just fancied looking a bit smarter I would pair it with some black skinny jeans and some sling back pumps.

This cute little pink crop top makes me feel like I’ve been taken back to the 90’s and I’m suddenly Cher out of Clueless, one of my all time favourite films. I have never been a fan of crop tops, for many obvious reasons that I’m sure most girls can relate to, but I’ve been working really hard in the gym lately and just thought fuck it, I’m gonna wear it with confidence!

Wear it with: I’ve paired it with these high waisted baggy jeans and cute mule sandals but if I wanted to really channel my inner Cher I would pair it with some high waisted flared jeans and some wedges.

I’ve always been a Zara fan girl, and this years spring/summer collection has not let me down. I love this white lace top. It’s that perfect in between for when you want to wear something a little bit sassy during the day but feel like wearing a lace low cut body suit would be a tad in-appropriate for Sunday lunch with the family.

Wear it with: If I was heading to the pub, yes the pub when you live in the country is unfortunately your only local source of a social drink, no sassy high end bars for me unless I want to take the hour journey into London is not an option. Anyway, I would pair it with some skinny high weighsted jeans and some booties.
